At the recent Flight Software conference, Jonathan Wilmot gave a session on EDS  (Electronic Data Sheets).  Which would greatly assist in automating interface building, etc. (see  http://flightsoftware.jhuapl.edu/files/2016/cFSWorkShop/cFSW16-08-EDS.pptx )

Together with CMAKE which is described as:

CMAKE. This is a NASA tool that takes XML Electronic Data Sheets for all messages, and generates state machine table, and inter connecting messages, and CFS headers

It is also mentioned that:

The Glenn Research Center has a tool for converting task priorities, timings, and other details (expressed in XML) and autogenerate the SCH (Scheduling) timing tables.

Who do we contact about getting a license for these tools, and any documentation if possible?

CMake is an open-source build tool:

https://cmake.org/download/

There are some cFS-related tools readily available here:

https://sourceforge.net/directory/os:windows/?q=core%20flight

I can’t speak on the GRC tool as I’m over here at Marshall. One of the Goddard folks might know what that is and if you can get it through tech transfer. You can feel free to search for it here:

~ Hope this helps~
